Why did sony did not put the flash reader cards on the 40 giga bytes ps3?

So they can sell it for cheaper, the less stuff you put in it the less you can sell it for.

Why did sony did not put the flash reader cards on the 40 giga bytes ps3?
because they want you to buy the more expensive one. The 40 gig is the poor man's ps3
Reply:To reduce production costs so they can sell it for cheaper. What do they do anyway?
Reply:Poor man's PS3? Last I heard, the 40gb PS3 is the only one you can buy now after Sony suffered losses producing the 60gb and 80gb PS3s.
