What is the difference between different types of storage cards used in mobiles?
it depends on Speed and Security. MMC is the simplest and i think the cheapest and reliable. SDC means secure digital card, that memory card has its own write lock on side of it (lick floppy disk), it is very reliable
Reply:mostly size and cost. availability of mmc is still limited.sd is most easily found and cost is very low 1 gb card average 50 dollars now. mmc usually come with a adaptor to make a pc think it is a sd so you can card reader it.
Reply:MMC is the way to extend memory without memory cards SD cards are mini cards inserted into the phone to increase memory you have memory cards starting from 64mb to 2gb now thats a lot of memory.
