Does it matter what brand of flash card i get for my digital camera?

if i get a kingston instead if lets say a *sandisk*, but the same size, kind but just cheaper prices...does it matter?

it doesn't really matter. the only time it makes a difference is if your camera is uber expensive thousand dollar camera. the write speed on the camera writes to the card which could be different on different brands depending who's got the faster write speed.

but if it's a small point and shoot camera, just opt for the cheaper brand. sandisk and kingston are both very reputable brands.
Reply:Kingston has been making memory for your computer for over a decade, so is a good brand to buy.

Buy your cards at a local electronics store .. this weekend the 2GB cards were on sale for $11 with an additional $4 rebate.
