How to use flash cards for studying?

I have used flash cards for math, Spanish, science formulas, etc.


One one side I have the problem with the answer, the other side has the problem without the answer.


You work first with the side of card with the answers and try to memorize them. Then you use the side without the answers and try to answer them. You can check yourself. Or you can have another person read the card to you and try to answer. I used this to memorize Spanish vocabulary words.
