Any name brand will work just fine and Lexar cards can be read by any reader. Almost any of the new cards on the market today can transfer images from camera to card faster than the camera is capable of. I've used SanDisk, Lexar and lately, Kingston and they all work just fine. I have had problems with the storebrand Promaster.
Reply:Sandisk 2Gig Extreme III CF got it for $39 before! ;)
Reply:I use Sandisk as well. Lexar Carts seem to need their own card reader. Mine are 1, 2 and 4 gig. The size depends on what you shoot and if you can download the card where you shoot. I would prefer 2 carts to one in case one fails and yes they do fail.
Reply:I use Sandisk as well. A bit of a warning though. Buy them only from trusted retailers. There are a lot of scams out there (ebay) where they are selling poor quality look-a-like cards.
