I'm thinking about making vocab flash cards for the GRE. I want to color code them. But i dont know how to separate them into categories that make sense and will be easier for me to study? Any ideas?

Try classifying them into three difficulty categories:
(1) Easy: Commonly used words in speaking
(2) Medium: Words used in writing or reading
(3) Hard: Rarely used words
