Chinese flash cards?

Ok this is a stupid question but its really annoying me. Im making flash cards for my chinese class, but flash cards only have 2 sides, but i need to write down the pinyin, english translation, and chinese character for each word. So i need to put 2 on 1 side but if i put the pinyin w/ the characters it doesnt help me learn the characters but if i put it on the same side as the english then if i amd just looking at the english and saying the pinyin its already on the same side. Yes this is probably a stupid question but does any1 know from experience what works best?

Chinese flash cards?
You could probably make one of the items (pinyin or english translation) upside down so it is harder for your class to see both the items which are placed on the same side of the card.
Reply:It would make the most sense to put the pinyin and the character on one side.

However, if you are more concerned with learning the pronounciation than the meaning, put the pinyin and the meaning on one side

Hope that helps!
