Try to use 10 every day.Make sure you use them.If at bedtime you know them put 10 other ones into your pocket. It will help you to increase your vocabulary.Try the nouns first and then the verbs, present tense first. Even if you come up with a sentence like-- ayer voy a la escuela.[yesterday I go to school] people will understand you.It takes a lot of constant practise to learn Spanish.I have been at it for more than 45 years and I want to be better yet.
Reply:I use to use flash cards for my French class. Start out with a small number and then once you get good with those, do another stack, and later on mix them.

as that other perosn said, they wont help you in conversations,

theyll only help you to memorize the names of stuff

i hope you learn the language, good luck
Reply:Flashcards are key to learning foreign language because learning vocabulary sets a strong foundation for further learning. You should learn at least 2,500 vocabulary words as the first step, maybe 500 words a week. This is easier than it sounds if you use nmemonics to do so. There are several nmemonic strategies which you can find on the internet or in books. For example, to remember that the spanish word for "old" is "viejo" you may create a sentence such as, "The V.A. hospital is so old it was knocked down with a hoe." Get it? That way you don't have to mindlessly repeat seeing and repeating a flashcard word. Remembering that sentence, which you will for a very long time, is enough.
Reply:You can know some words studying in that way, but you can never learn any language by memorization. You cannot have a conversation with a person with a memorized scheme in your mind.

Think what you do speaking in English. You don't have to think every word you are going to say, you just say them.

Only way to LEARN a language: practice, practice %26amp; practice. And with time you will know it.

The flash cards can help to pass a subject in the school. That's it.
